today has been an amazing and yet, another long day. we finally had some good weather, so we brushed off our hangovers and headed to the Pilatus. this is an overlooking of Lucern that you get to by gondola. it is 7000 ft. It was freezing cold up there, with ice and snow from the night before. the scenery was breathless. huge, vast lakes, thick green trees, hundred foot drops of rock cliffs. it was just awesome......

we just arrived in bern. the driving is getting a bit easier, ryan only almost hit 10 people today, not is usual 30. we just drive fast and reckless like the others... bern is what i imagined europe to be. it is very old, kind of medival, with lots of tiny streets, cobble stones, and tons of people.
