The Beginning

Here is the place where you can see, share, post, comment and live the 2009 Europe trip through the eyes of 6 friends. We will be posting and updating from now until we return, with pictures, thoughts, ideas, comments and tips for anyone interested. This first post is about 3 weeks before the trip. We have plane tickets and are now beginning to book accommodations for the various stages of the trip.

For a little background, there are 6 of us going to Europe for about 2 weeks. B, Mel, Stacy, Q, D and the Hob. We are all from San Diego except the Hob, who is from Utah. We are all leaving the same day and flying into different airports in Europe. After a week on varied itineraries, we will be meeting up in Italy. Here is a bit on how it breaks down:

B & Mel leave San Diego for Frankfurt, Germany; Stacy & Q go from SD to Pisa, Italy; D goes SD to Zurich, Switzerland; Hob goes SLC to Zurich, Switzerland. After about a week, we all (except Hob, cause he's flying home early) meet up in Vernaza, Italy to tour the remaining portion as one huge America cluster, then fly home on the same plane from Pisa back to the SD.
